Stand Alone Reverb Unit

Stand Alone Reverb Unit.  This was my first "scratch" project.

A look inside the Reverb Unit

Inside the Reverb chassis.  All point to point wiring on a Turret board.  Designed like the Fender Reverb Unit from the 60's.  This layout design is borrowed from Hoffman Amps.

A 20 Watt screamer with variable power control

This amp was built around a set of transformers that came out of a wrecked Thomas Organ for 1960.  The amp has volume and the standard Treble, Mid and Bass. BUT next to the tone controls is a Fat Tone control,  When pulled out the traditional tone controls are bypassed and a tweed tone control is active.  This increases the gain of the amp by two.  After this control is the Variable Power Control which lets you change the wattage of the amp from 20 watts down to 1 watt. It's very cool.

One more thing...  All the knobs are now black.

RI Super Reverb totally gutted and rebuilt point to point

Below is my Super Reverb with the Reverb unit on top.  To the right is an early version.  The SR has been modded many times since this picture.

The Super was a Re-issue amp that I completely gutted and replaced with a point to point turret board.  Then I added channel switching with an awesome lead channel.  This also has a parallel effects loop.

5F6A Bassman with Hoffman Board

This is a picture of the insides (pardon me) of my Bassman.

This was a re-issue 5F6A Fender Bassman.  Yes, again I gutted out the insides and rebuilt like they used to, all point to point wiring.
